Amanda Wright, Owner
I’m a lifelong learner, systems-oriented entrepreneur, and someone who’s not afraid to dig in and do the work. My journey hasn’t been easy—I grew up in poverty and worked tirelessly to claw my way out. My family’s experiences with inadequate estate planning shaped my passion for this field.

I’ve been building systems for over a decade, starting with major nonprofits serving tens of thousands of people. Transitioning to creating and refining systems for law firms was a natural step. I launched my first business in 2010 to help fund my way through law school. That business still exists helping athletes succeed in long-distance running.

Academically, I’ve always pushed myself to excel. I graduated summa cum laude from law school, passed the New York Bar Exam using only my notes (no review course), and 9 years later, scored in the top 1% of the UBE. I don’t just know the law—I obsess over it.

My passion for education led me to develop asynchronous and synchronous online courses long before the world embraced virtual learning. I’ve created training programs for higher education, designed systems for emergency management, and taught advanced legal topics.
Now, I channel that experience into businesses that support estate planning attorneys and firms. I own Drafting Gurus™ and Funding Gurus™. At Funding Gurus™ we help law firms fund their client's trusts so that their clients have true peace of mind knowing that their estate plan will work when their families need it to.

I’m someone who believes that clarity and preparation bring real peace of mind, especially when it comes to planning for the future. My journey into the legal field began as a working scholar, balancing academics and work to earn my degree in 2020 with a 1.66 GWA from a pre-law program, an academic path that prepared me well for pursuing law school in the future. That experience taught me discipline, focus, and perseverance—values that continue to guide me today. In 2021, I also passed the licensure board examination for Customs Brokers in the Philippines, a milestone that deepened my appreciation for structure, compliance, and detail-oriented work.

Since entering the U.S. legal industry in 2021, I’ve dedicated my career to supporting attorneys and clients in Estate Planning, Business Law, and Trademark matters. As a Paralegal Drafter at Drafting Gurus™, I assist in preparing and drafting Estate Planning documents with accuracy and efficiency. In my role as Lead Trust Funding Coordinator at Funding Gurus™, I ensure that those plans are properly executed by helping clients fund their trusts thoroughly and on time. I take pride in making the process smooth, organized, and easy to understand for every client I assist.
